Here's something old I use to boil water with and make coffee..androasts and soups and bake cakes, and just about anything that needs cooking....It gets hooked to the M37 if we bug out on wheels!
I was looking at a box of miscellany just now and remembered this little item. It's silly; but I like it. I wouldn't dare carry it because pure gold is way too soft. Still, the gold is an investment.

Beautiful item!
I would not be surprised if the ingot had some kind of case or covering...it looks as if it does, would make sense if it does. Either way, great investment and a real treasure!

No, it has no covering. The raw gold is right there to be loved. The knife itself comes in a little soft cloth pouch, however.
The cash price of gold is $1668.70 at this moment (and until Sunday) so bullion value is $50.06.
Different places have been carrying this little gem at different prices so take a look around. I think I paid between eighty and ninety a year or so ago.

What will the bullion value of that thing be when the price of gold goes to $40k per oz , as many knowledgeable traders predict? Lemme see...$1200 looks pretty close! Buy all you want of 'em at $80, $90, $150, whatever. Or, skip the knife, and just buy the bars!
Yes, these particular Jethro Tull CD's were found in a hidden hollowed spot within the joinery of the timbers of a circa 1803 home while being dismantled. These were quite a find because these hithertofore unknown CD's were from a time when Ian must have been in his early forties...
CDs! The original Jethro Tull music were LPs and 8 tracks. CDs must have been copies of the albums.
