Hey, those are nice! We had one in the attic of our last house, left there by who-knows-who, and I can't believe we left it there when we moved!

Ah well, live and learn!

I was looking at a box of miscellany just now and remembered this little item. It's silly; but I like it. I wouldn't dare carry it because pure gold is way too soft. Still, the gold is an investment.

Swiss Army Knife Classic Gold Ingot

Think of it as a survival item for formal occasions.

Beautiful item!

I would not be surprised if the ingot had some kind of case or covering...it looks as if it does, would make sense if it does. Either way, great investment and a real treasure!

No, it has no covering. The raw gold is right there to be loved. The knife itself comes in a little soft cloth pouch, however.

The cash price of gold is $1668.70 at this moment (and until Sunday) so bullion value is $50.06.

Different places have been carrying this little gem at different prices so take a look around. I think I paid between eighty and ninety a year or so ago.

What will the bullion value of that thing be when the price of gold goes to $40k per oz , as many knowledgeable traders predict? Lemme see...$1200 looks pretty close! Buy all you want of 'em at $80, $90, $150, whatever. Or, skip the knife, and just buy the bars!

CDs! The original Jethro Tull music were LPs and 8 tracks. CDs must have been copies of the albums.
