Zombies and especially the flesh eating kind are very scary to think about. What is the percentage chance that there will actually be these horrid creatures in th SHTF?
Zombie apocalypse might not be too bad depending on what type of zombies you are dealing with.
If it's the slow moving/can't swim/below average strength/get tripped up easily types like in the original Night of the Living Dead, or The Walking Dead TV series it wouldn't be too horrible. Just occupy an island and have plenty of guns & ammo & you're set.
If it's the I am Legend or World War Z type zombies that can sprint as fast as cheetahs, swim faster than dolphins, leap 30 yards, and have the strength of a dozen gorillas, then we are all screwed.
1. Most people are buried in suits and dresses. the Zombie apocalypse will be a pretty formal affair.
2. Zombies seek to eat brains according to lore, so Liberals will not have to worry about zombies coming after them.
3. Conservatives are usually well armed, they might not have to worry much either.
4. To Conservatives, Liberals are easily mistaken for zombies, Liberals may have to worry about being shot.
5. Because dead flesh rots, there will be a limited period with mobile zombies and finally none at all.
6. We would have overall bigger problems like reactors overheating, planes crashing, dams breaking etc.
7. Rampant fires, floods and lack of medical care or sanitation.
8. Gasoline goes stale after awhile so transportation could be challenging.
9. Unless a worldwide apocalypse happened other countries would take advantage and seize control, possibly fighting with other countries for the land.
10. Most people's worst enemy would be themselves.

Well, if you think zombies aren't real, clearly you haven't been around MY neighborhood after dark. Come on down and I'll show you. They mostly shuffle from the meth house to the Circle K and back. Luckily they are part vampire and light scares them away.

We are already experiencing a zombie invasion, I see brain dead people by the thousands wandering around my town in search of cow flesh and brains, if we ever run out of cows they will be eating people
I heard the theory that the zombies would be people who could not get their medications. As we know, many of the prescribed medications cannot just be stopped, many take them for years, and we don't really know what they will be like when they can't fill their prescriptions. Think about it. Psycotrophic drugs suddenly not available. I have a few cannot just be stopped and you have to be weaned off of them................
