Well I guess you could spray it on your head like they did to that melon.
In the video the guy says they use it on body armour to stop spalling, I was thinking it could be used on metal plinking targets to help prevent ricochets.
Well, I'm certainly going to order as many cases as possible and spray that stuff on my brain! We never get cool ads like that out here since we're too far from most of the signal towers to be able to pick up very much in the way of cable or even antenna TV. I get my Internet between 8 am and 10 pm on a good day. Just one more benefit of living in the middle of nowhere - literally.
My spray foam guy has some very hard resin coatings that he also sprays. Not sure if it's the same stuff but it's very expensive and pretty much bullet proof. Like rhino lining on steroids.
I would like to experiment coating one of my geodesic domes or perhaps another building with it.
I'm pretty sure this is the same stuff and is available for the average DIY handyman with a simple fastKick gun and air compressor. I have used their fast kick spray system for closed cell spray foam and other coatings and it works great and very easy to use. They have a ballistic composite, a bomb proof composite, a chemical proof composite and even a completely clear composite. A clear composite that can stop bullets and be see through at the same time is very cool. All at relatively reasonable costs for a smaller project. You can also get it in 55 gallon barrels if you're trying to go crazy.
You can spray it on anything from fabric to steel to concrete.
Any cool business ideas with these coatings? Portable bullet/blast proof Bunker building company perhaps? Military base gov contract for military equipment? Boat building? Anything else that needs to be made stronger? They also have it for bed liners and roof coatings. The wife will be more on board letting me order it if I can give her pie in the sky ideas on how it will pay for itself .
I really want to order some and experiment with it. So very cool. I'll come back to this thread with pics when I do.
