Non-PC answer: Cause people think you have a problem with society or going to work and paying taxes
I do have a problem with society, or at least what it has become. In my opinion it went off the rails a long time ago--before I was even born. Many aspects of "mainstream, modern society" disgusts me. That is, of course, my opinion and nobody else should really care. However, I'm entitled to that opinion, and I'm entitled to act on that opinion, assuming that in doing so I'm not negatively affecting others within our grand, Utopian society. That concept is called freedom, and we still do have it to a certain extent.
And, yes, I do have a problem "donating" too many (notice I didn't say "any") hours of my life to the government and dependency class (so they have time to go out and protest against me, and other such important activities such as threatening people for their voting preferences and defecating on the sidewalks of our lovely cities).
Lastly, I have no problem with work at all--as long as that work is for myself or others to whom I CHOOSE to donate my time and effort.

Ha, it's funny, as I read through your post with the indication of the accent, a cartoon character from way back came to mind. I don't remember his name, but he had a French accent, was a skunk, and was always hitting on the women.
And see, now you've done it! Now that skunk will forever in my mind be a communist. He has turned hardcore, old-school, USSR style Russian (or Californian).
