Oh, I bet I know much more about Trump than you ever will.
All I need to know is what he is actually doing policy-wise. I really don't care if he is sitting in his office drooling on himself all day and biting the heads off small animals. What I DO care about is this:
1) He has reinstated the 13th amendment and banished slavery for the second time in the US. Hopefully it will be the last time slavery has to be abolished.
2) Certain governmental restrictions on my employment have gone away. I can now work more hours. Imagine that.
3) My wage has gone up (by government decree, no less).
4) My taxes have gone down.
That sure beats a nation where industry and production is discouraged, where certain industries are targeted and shut down, where certain types of citizens are silenced via browbeating, where I'm told by the government what I must buy from private corporations (AKA de facto slavery), where anyone in the world is allowed into the country (especially terrorists, malcontents, socialists, and potential left-wing voters) and is given special status over me and my fellow US-born citizens, and where the government is slowly becoming totalitarian.
Now, mind you, that may come back in a few years--thanks to voters with opinions like yours--but for now... I'M FREE. That's all I really need to know about Trump. When I don't have to worry about the government making incursions into my personal life and choices... I'm fairly content. When I DON'T have the government trying to cram utopian socialist nonsense down my throat, I'm even more content.
Mainly you folks are mad at Trump because he doesn't lie down and take your BS as past presidents have and he's not afraid to give you the finger when you deserve it. It's actually very entertaining to watch and listen to. You people don't know how to handle someone who disagrees with you, isn't afraid to make sure you know that, and isn't affected or cowed by your Alinsky tactics. It's the first time Alinsky isn't working out for you... and you have no idea how to deal with that. He only gets more popular every time you try to smear him. Your "Rules for Radicals" just isn't working out for you at this point. Yep... as I said, quite entertaining.
No. Because most Americans are not in favor of banning shotguns, but are in favor of banning assault rifles. Also, shotguns are used for hunting and sometimes self defense. Assault weapons are made strictly to kill the most number of people in as little time as possible, and to do a particular lot of damage to the flesh and inner organs. They decimate the inner organs, turning them into mush.
It makes no sense that adults won't ban assault rifles, which are used to mass kill innocent citizens in this country. Banning them would save lives. We have to do this to protect the citizens and particularly children. Enough is enough. Anyone who doesn't want to is saying they don't really care about the mass killings or little kids with their faces blown off. Most who don't want to ban them have never faced the end of an assault rifle. Children have.
We need to get this done. It's common sense.
As for which rifles are classified assault, they have been identified before, when they were banned previously. In the decade they were banned, mass shootings went down. When assault rifles were reinstated, mass shootings skyrocketed. Banning them does save innocent lives. We also need to get background checks done everywhere, even gun shows. And a 3 day waiting period may be a good idea (you may have to do that, for time to run the background check).
I am so tired of this BS ignorance. There are more people killed by cars , doctors , abortions and more than guns but you'll be damed if you'll even consider talking about that.
Again assault weapons are already illegal , AR15's that are being used are semi automatics , not fully automatic . Just because the lying news media makes it sound like a assault weapon doesn't make it so.
Putting government restrictions on businesses is not “owning” them. We all pay taxes whether we own a company or not. I know you are scared of the Dems, and you should be! They are going to beat your team in 2018 and probably in 2020. Be very afraid...
Trump MUST appoint more SCOTUS judges on this term.
If by some chance he loses 2020 and he doesn't get to appoint any more judges and then all of a sudden 2 or 3 get replaced by young liberal activist judges, and if the dems take Congress this country would immediately be on the fast track to CW2.
keep stocking up, praying, and being involved civically and politically. Be a part of the political process. Let politicians know where we stand. Unite with neighbors. Formulate plans and contingencies.
One thing I have decided....

I agree with most of this, except that I don't think
any political solution will be found, and I don't think
it will be anywhere near as clean and tidy as
the "Civil War."
And I don't think it will end well.
For either side.
(But, I read the end of The Book, and Jesus wins. )
"Also included in the gun ban were semi-automatic pistols which can accept higher than 10 round magazines. That’s virtually all full size semi-automatic pistols."

MORTON GROVE, ILL. — What's a peaceful green suburb in America's conservative heartland doing in the cross fire of an emotional national controversy over gun control? Morton Grove's village trustees effectively asked for the dubious honor. They voted earlier this summer to flatly ban both the sale and possession of handguns. The action was the strongest by any jurisdiction in the nation.
Of course, a bunch of despots in robes said the ban was constitutional.
It wasn't until 27 years later we got a Supreme Court ruling which included 5 sentient and 4 non-sentient justices, and they essentially overturned the ban. (Which was, on its face, unconstitutional, as is the present one.)
Case Study: Morton Grove, Illinois v. Kennesaw, Georgia
Many advocates of gun rights know of the small town of Kennesaw, Georgia. For those that are not familiar with the city and its recent history, in 1982, the city passed a law that requires each household to own a firearm and ammunition. Exempt from this law were felons, paupers, and those physically or mentally unable to maintain a firearm. The local government passed this law in response to a law passed in 1981 in Morton Grove, Illinois that outlawed the private ownership of handguns. Even though this law is difficult to enforce and was passed primarily as a symbolic measure, it gained worldwide attention. Now, I choose this example to contrast the opposite nature of these two cities. The results may surprise you.
The might surprise liberals. They will not surprise those with a fully functional brain.
Quote:
Before the comparison begins, first let me point out a few differences in the two cities that could have an effect on the data. Kennesaw grew as a city over the next ten years or so, nearly doubling in population. This urbanization typically causes crime to increase. Morton Grove however began with a relatively low crime rate and a fairly urbanized city that remained constant throughout the next ten years. In a direct comparison, Kennesaw ought to be more predisposed for crime to increase. However, in reality, the opposite happened.
Immediately after the passage of Kennesaw’s law, the amount of burglaries was cut in half. Violent crime within the city dropped at all levels. The community did not suffer a murder for years after that, and according the police chief at the time that was done by a knife. The gun requirement acted as a deterrent for criminals around the city. According to a past police chief D. Wilson, inmates had contacted the government of Kennesaw with the message that they would avoid Kennesaw because of the gun requirement. Those criminals knew that their potential victims would probably be armed, and that fear caused them to go elsewhere. Other fears with a mandatory gun law include escalations in domestic violence and an increase in fatal accidents involving children. Since the law was enacted, neither has happened. In the decade after the law was passed, there were no instances of handguns used against spouses nor were there any instances of children being injured due to accidental discharge. That in itself supports the theory that guns are safe in the hands of a safe person.
Thus we have an example of more guns, less crime.
Quote:
Now that we have examined the effects of the law on the Kennesaw community, let us examine the effects in Morton Grove. The complete ban of private ownership of handguns did not cause crime to go down. In fact, violent crime increased by 15% in the city the following year. In the surrounding areas, crime increased only 3%. This increased rate stayed constant in the years after. Statistically speaking, the ban led to an increase in crime. Pundits can debate the reasons for this until we all puke, but it makes sense to think that the ban makes criminals more active
And thus we show that only non-sentient people favor gun bans.
