I really wish I had more skills. I trained somewhat but, not enough, only enough to put me slightly ahead of the masses whose only skill will be to try to jump you and cut you up for your stuff.
I know how to disassemble and reassemble a few military weapons, how to make fire and small stoves out of junk, building 3rd rate imrpovised shelters, I suppose I could gut animals to eat, set up some tents. I've taken scrap copper wire and magnets and got a light bulb to work...
I have books that I read up on about outdoorsmanship and, I practice it but, I haven't practiced blacksmithing, hide tanning, preserving (I have no idea about jams or curing jerky).
I can gather and lead a group to do my bidding and if anyone gets out of line I'll introduce them to Lucy!
I'm guessing this will be my post apocalyptic talent. I think I'll just start calling myself "the Governor." We just gotta make sure we don't end up in the same group.
