Actually, a few years ago I investigated which city in the USA has the least amount of natural disasters. It was two cities in Ohio. If you think about it there is no state safe from all natural disasters, whether it be hurricanes, tornados, floods, fires, earthquakes, derecho's, blizzards, sinkholes, etc.

A snow storm in MN is normal, but would be a disaster in Florida.

Apparently small creatures like rabbits, mice, etc., Survive by going underground. I suppose they don't need as much oxygen.

Maybe instead of an underground bunker you should build a helicopter pad and just call for help if you think you'll be stuck because of traffic. {{Evil grin}}

i suppose if someone already had a doomsday bunker to survive the apocalypse, it would make sense to make it so it has an air supply to hold you over for the apocalypse and that should cover a forrest fire. but to build one just for the purpose of a fire does open you up to taking that same money and finding better ways to evacuate. maybe some kind of light aircraft.

I have thought about it. Your statement is still 'not true'.

Every place on earth has the potential to have or be part of, a natural disaster. How about those famous last words... " is that a meteor?

Sure. Every location on this planet is subject to the possibility of meteor strike.

However it is possible to avoid areas normally subject to things like hurricanes and tornados, floods and forest fires, earthquakes and blizzards and sinkholes.

To that list I would even add killer droughts.

Do you have a list of those places or place?
