Just watch to see if the big money gets scared and does anything unusual. Warren Buffet bought a railroad company on the belief that Cap and Trade will run up oil prices and make trucking very expensive compared to moving freight by rail.

Love your optimism , but may I suggest a minor correction? Some people will adapt. Many will perish because they will be completely unprepared and won't know what hit them, and also because they have no skills to survive in the world without cars and microwave ovens.
I am not trying to rain on anybody's parade, just trying to see things in a realistic light.

I thought this to be an interesting article. Since I don't know much on this subject, I would assume more then just this country would be affected. Could this be up and coming for us also?
