I don't know about Cyber Monday, but I picked up a Flip HD camera for my wife online from Avon.com over the weekend. It was going for $199.00 and I paid $90-something for it. Should be here in about 4-7 days.

Looking for a laptop for our daughter to use at college. Any e-deals. We found one that was $30 off regular price. Not our idea of a deal.

IMO, you will seldom do much better than a Dell Outlet Refurb with a 15%--20% off coupon.
It's the first place I look for computers and printers.

My husband says the SAME thing. He found one the other day for $300 and we were SOOO close to buying it but decided we didn't "need" it...so we let it go.

Not to sound stupid, but is that online or a local store?

How ironic. Our daughter bought a dell laptop about 12 months ago and the keys are falling off the thing, the CD spins soradically and she is ready to heave-ho--ho it out the window. Dont thibk a dell would be appreciared right now.

Did you check the bookstore at the college? They often have the best prices on hardware and software. Surprisingly, within NC the prices are different at various schools. Prices at NCSU are usually less than at ECU or Wake Tech.

Check the coupon sites. A couple years back, we bought my daughter's laptop directly from HP using a coupon that was worth around $500 off.

Also, check to see if your daughter's school is eligible for the free software from Microsoft.
Student Resources

Of course, there is always Open Office as a free alternative to MS Office.
