Thanks so much for this great intuitive information. That is some scarey stuff going on. What are people suppose to do, is their a device, that counteracts this one.
My employer has switched credit card companies because the one we use to have had RFID. The new ones are swipe only and they provide us with these little paper wallets to put the cards in that prevents reading them. Your main thing to prevent this is if you don;t need the RFID, don;t carry RFID cards, plain and simple. Ask your credit card company if it has RFID and if so, ask for a replacement that does not have it. If they can't or won;t do that switch to a card that will.
Today when we went for some shopping I decided to take a look at some wallets but nowhere other than the internet, I can find any wallets that have the RFID protection..Shouldn't retailers be on top of this to prived a product that is fashionable and protecting at the same time...
I would do it myself if I wouldn't expect the nice brands to come up with it in the near future but to me they are kind of slow...
