I try to. If I saw the $1 American product next to the $0.98 (or even $0.78) foreign product I would choose the American one. But if there is no "Made in U.S.A." alternative, or if the quality is not comparable, or if the clothes don't fit, I don't.

Do you think that if more people did buy only American-made products, it would stimulate our economy and create more jobs?

You are rare. Most people will see a item for $1 made by american workers in amaerica and will pass it by for the item made by the Taliban in Iran if it saves them 2 cents.

If people started buying amaerican made products instead of foreign made items, it would stimulate the economy because more amaerican workers will be needed to make those items. But tit won't happen anytime soon because people could care less about your job. So long as they ahve a job they could care less if you starve. So they run to Walmarts and support the local China/asia/south american economy. The day they lose their job to foreign competition may be the day they may start understanding this mess.

Buying only American made products is a toughest thing...Because in the market we are seeing lot of products but we select only the branded and quality things. If we got a branded thing we will never mind about the country the product made up of..Buying American products is the good idea but we should have the manufacturers for all... .I'm waiting for this situation..

Since outsourcing was so popular, very few items are made in America anymore, and that's the primary reason for the poor economy with all the jobs lost in the US.
If everything was made in America today the increased costs of the products would be prohibitive to most consumers.
