Is your local mall busy on Mondays, Tues, Wed or Th? Or is it dependant on weekend business?

Have you been to any malls across the country that seemed surprisingly busy during the middle of the week outside Christmas time or sale seasons?

When I traveled to Europe & Asia, I notice it didn't matter so much the day of the week how busy shopping areas/ malls can be (always seemed busy in the main malls in Hong Kong for instance whether it be Tues or Sat)

The few malls I've been to in Houston depend on weekend sales and income tax season. The Galleria attracts people during events and stuff though.

There's an open air/out door shopping mall near my house that is a mad house during all business hours. No matter what day or time. I don't even bother going around Christmas or the couple weeks before public schools start in the fall. It's not worth it.

I won't say the name of the mall you're referring to, but it, as well as most of the malls in CFL are always packed.

Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor, MI is busy every day of the week, and it has some pretty upscale stores. People think that everyone in Michigan is struggling financially, but I can tell you first hand that there is plenty of wealth and disposable income here.

Since gas prices have hit $4/gallon malls in my area have really dropped off on weeknights. Weekends are still pretty packed though.

The mall here pulls in people from surrounding parishes (counties in other states) and is pretty much always busy.

Lots of the Malls in HK will be busy because lots of locals still live at home ( in tiny apartments) and its their way of escaping the family and benefiting from the free air-conditioning !! Or at least thats what a few girls from my husband's office told me.

Had to swing by the mall Tuesday night. I like to go just before they close as it's usually a little less busy. Not this time. I was returning something for the GF and had to wait in line for a good 10 mins. Parking was also pretty bad. Normally I can find something in the front lots. This time I had to park in one of the outer lots and hoof it.. Seems like they're getting busier every week. So much for a poor economy...
