I am looking for something original that is useful and will not get tossed in the trash by the office manager. I want something that can have my logo, name and number. We build, renovate and sell Medical office space and I am prospecting existing medical professionals to see if they need more space? What can I drop off at the offices that will say hey this is something different? No pens, stress balls, or potatoe chip magnets..
Please help thanks..

How about a tool (hammer, stapler, scissors, ruler, tape measure, right angle/triangle etc). It's a good metaphor for your business too.

A clipboard? Pen?
I don't work in a medical office, but I do work in a marketing department of a corporate office, and it's pretty standard office-wise. Our swag is stuff like staple removers (the good kind that lift the staples out, not the "claw" removers), mugs ... we have little pedometers, which I like, but we're a health care company so that's more relevant to us.
And say what you want, I love the magnetic clips. I always use them.

How about those emergency tools used to escape a car - sear belt cutter and small hammer all in one? That or Swiss army knives or flashlights.

How about a hand sanitizer container? A post-it holder?

Maybe a small pocket calculator; a pocket pill holder (I would like that); small pocket LED flashlight; puzzles; comb & mirror combo; flash drive.

A candy jar with your logo and phone number on it. Then it gives you an excuse to go back, "Just here to fill your candy jar, how is everyone?" And who doesn't like chocolate?

Onto topic: pedometers.... they can measure the steps they take in their new enlarged spaces.
