I eventually noticed that every left cuff on all my good shirts was frayed. I just assumed it was cheap material or labor from overseas. I talked to a Walmart jewelry salesperson and showed her the cuffs. She said my cheap Timex watch was responsible. Who would believe they make a sharp edge watch that cuts your shirt cuffs?
I haven't worn a watch in years. Most of the time when I did, it was a pocket watch. If you work around electricity or moving machinery, any jewelry like that can be dangerous.

Most any watch, just not Timex, will likely fray your cuffs.
