I have shopped at Target a handful of times and never find their prices comparable and the store is always pretty empty (which makes for a pleasant experience) but how do they stay open?

Yes, I do... because I like their goods and their prices.

Me also for the same reasons. Some Targets are not as well stocked as others depending on sales volume but I've never had too many complaints about their prices.

Online sometimes. Rarely in the stores. Prices are better online than in their stores.

Only occasionally, they are geographically too far away.

I don't really shop there unless they have a good buy on something or a sale that I want to check out. (like after Christmas). They aren't my "go to" store if I am looking for something. With some stores offering to price match if you have the Target circular, sometimes I use it at another store to get the price. Target is said to price match as well, but I tried and they don't make it easy. Might have just been who the cashier was.

Yes, I like most of their stuff. We have a supertarget here which has groceries and I like their private label food.
Clothes - avoid if I can. I find the shrinkage is terrible and the fabric extremeley thin. Like they want you to wear it for a couple months? Disposable clothes?
I think the shrinkage complaint is valid though, I did notice the last time I shopped there they actually had a few shirts they they were touting as "preshrunk" FINALLY!! I wish more clothes would be this way.
Toy section is better than the nearby w-mart.

I'm addicted to Target. Target stores around here are always full. Most people where I live prefer Target to Walmart. But the opposite is true where I'm from in the Midwest.

I shop at Target because it is well organized, easy to find, prices and quality match and easy to find workers to ask questions. I like Walmart but it's not convenient for me. There is too much packed in one store, things are harder to find because of that reason and Target has better quality clothing and home decor.

I love Target and I buy my diet coke & popcorn combo special , stroll around the store and have a great time.

(I have to add the obvious. My life is not all that exciting).
