$678 for a t.v. for our son last year. Way more than we normally spend and we actually all get use out of it, so I don't feel too guilty.

I splurged and spent $29 on my wife. For that, I got the one gift that shows exactly how I feel about her. She's getting an oragami boulder with haiku and bamboo display stand.
