I used to buy Pert shampoo that said "for oily hair" on the front but can no longer find it.
There's also no Fructis for oily hair. They have them for normal hair, or for dry hair.
Did they stop making shampoo for oily hair??

What should I use? My hair feels dirty by the middle of the day.

Here's what I've used for years and I've been very happy with it.

Just buy the cheapest or second cheapest shampoo. Costco shampoo is good. All shampoos are basically the same.

Know how they all say "rinse and repeat"?
You are the one in twenty who actually should

At the expense of using his shampoo twice as fast, his hair would go from 99.9% clean to 99.99% clean.

Prell is really good for oily hair, if you can find it.

Clarifying shampoos. Clear ones. Then don't rinse with blistering hot water - use cool. Then don't touch your scalp at all.

I spent from age 13 to 25 with really oily hair. I've used everything from Dawn (in high school when it was really, really bad) to sulfate free salon products. If you aren't willing to go through an extended period training your scalp to produce less oil, and having bad hair in the meantime, just get a clarifying shampoo.

Oh, dear, I have oily hair like yours... runs in my entire family. Interestingly, aside from scalp, I've had dry skin from face to toes my whole life, too. Go figure.

They stopped making Pert Oily a few years ago, but here's a link with a recipe to make it yourself & some other info. Turns out it's 60% Suave Clarifying shampoo + 40% Pert Simply Cleanse & Condition shampoo. So, you can save a few empty bottles & mix your own, if you like:

Replacement for Pert for Oily Hair Shampoo

Also, there is one Pert Plus which might help you... So Fine for fine or oily hair. Perhaps it will be the same formula... they just seem to have repackaged & renamed their products. Several reviewers said it was great for oily hair, others said no... it's inexpensive enough to test, I suppose:

Amazon.com: Light Conditioning Formula 2 In 1 Shampoo and Conditioner for Fine or Oi by Pert Plus, 25.4 Ounce: Beauty

Here's an article on the best 12 shampoos for oily hair. No way to know if they're good without trying & some are very expensive ($61, a couple in the $30 range & several $24), but you may want to test something new:

12 Best Shampoos for Oily Hair … | All Women Stalk

And, can ya believe it, here's a guy with an oily hair blog. He does write one article on Pert:

Oily hair shampoo

Good luck! Oh, have you checked Ebay (but, keep in mind that beauty products have a 3-yr shelf life) or sent an email directly to the company to inquire about availability or formula changes? You might be surprised with their response.

My daughter has really oily hair. The ladies at the beauty supply suggested using Mane and Tail shampoo, but it didn't help her much.

Right now, she's using Tresemme clarifying shampoo and conditioner and it works better than anything else we've tried.

We also use a dry shampoo sometimes if she starts looking oily. Suave makes a good dry shampoo that's only about $3. It also makes your hair look thicker, an added benefit.
