In short, here's my situation:

* 2 kid with dust-mite allergies
* 1 small dog, 1 cat
* Given that 80% of the house is hardwood floors, is it worth it? If you are a Dyson owner, do you use it on non-carpeted flooring?

Thanks in advance!

However... Dyson has their new vacuum specifically for hard floor surfaces. And it's called Dyson Hard (). Seriously. We love our Dyson vacuum for carpets and will buy this new one once our house is completed. May be worth looking into.

No. I love my Dyson Animal but it works best on carpet. Don't waste your money!
