No, Jasper, as fuel prices rise free home deliver (or a small shipping cost) is an ENORMOUS benefit!

Very few people understand the TOTAL cost of sourcing home supplies due to cheap fuel for so long that they had to pay as a hidden cost. Business can write off most cost for shipping or get it for less since they ship so much product.

Everyone knows that doing anything in bulk is always cheaper than the short trips to the store in fuel and wear on their very expensive to own cars. (THIS statement will put a lot of people in to shock and denial!!)

Since I've retired I run our home like a small business. By doing that I've save thousands of dollars by very carefully sourcing as much of our needs as possible to internet business with free shipping and no sales tax.

has fuel price go up so do prices has we have seen. Nothing is free. buying in bulk is always cheaper but it does not mean shipping is ever really free. Then you have to deal with delivery and availabilty problems just has I just did on a order .Three days on in stock and finally canceled order. It was amazon. No thanks I'll pay the few cents it cost in fuel for not dealing with delivery while getting the exercise by shopping and walking plus the choice it give me in selection. Just because steaks are on sale does not mean I want them ;I want to see them first and pick from the cuts from the clod. There is a reason its call shopping now days and that means looking before buying :IMO;it not like computers which same model is the same ; just dealing with delivery damage or defect. Store throw away what customers refuse to buy all the time in foods.
