What's nice about Amazon is that they carry numerous specialty food items that don't require refrigeration. Their prices in general have been lower than the specialty stores plus the round trip gas. As a Prime member its free two day shipping. If they can expand to frozen items and ship them using dry ice and make it a Prime eligible item I will probably jump to them.

Me too.

Amazon were one of the few places I could get the bottled fresh ginger shipped to me at a great price. I love cooking with ginger, but often wasted a lot of the dry root kind I bought at the market, so I am looking forward to seeing what more they'll be adding to their already pretty good selection of groceries.

I looked high and low for Knudsen's Sparkling Cucumber Water that I tasted on a trip to Seattle. I even called headquarters for info on where I could find it. None of the places were near me. So, I checked Amazon. They have it. I love it. I love amazon.com.

Ketabcha, I remember when you posted about Knudsen's Sparkling Cucumber Water on another C-D forum. After that, I started ordering it from Amazon. Then Amazon ran it out of briefly and I ordered the Blueberry flavor -- OMG, that's even better. I'm hooked and now get two cases of the Blueberry Water delivered by Amazon each week. Thanks again!

Don't you two try to tempt me. Might take a look at that water.

I have been shopping Amazon for years now, I've made many great purchases there, love the site.

Once you taste it, you'll probably be hooked too, TRosa. I've gotten spoiled by it and can barely tolerate the taste of plain iced water (which I used to enjoy) any more.
