What I need is a list of online shopping sites which would accept money order or concealed cash for payment .
This isn't about my paranoia over identity theft, this is about helping manage my budget, especially for Christmas shopping. I'm not so interested in big-name retailer websites, although I know Amazon does accept money orders. I need smaller, more obscure websites which sell gift items like figurines, home decor, books, etc. Yes, I have a credit card and I have a paypal account, but I do not want to use them for my Christmas Shopping. My budget is too tight.
Any websites you can refer me to would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!

There are many places that will take money orders but generally when you shop online you are expected to pay at that time. You should just order a bunch of catalogues of places you like and then send in your money order with your order. As far as well hidden cash I would not recommend it because you have no way of knowing if the person you send it to will be honest or not.

I would just buy a prepaid masrercard...many banks sell them with little or no fee if you have an account with them.

yeah you should get a "green dot" card it is a prepaid credit card. it cost ten dollors and you can put $20.00 - $500.00 on it and you can add money on it at any bank. they are available at radio shack, walgreens, and other major stores. the prepaid cards are visa/master card so they are accepted almost anywhere online.

its best to get a bank checking card for online shopping.
it take the money right out of your checking account, has a visa logo so you can use it anywhere visa is accepted ( or it could be master card type ) and you won't go crazy and over spend your budget. helps me a lot.
