Has anyone received a phone call from (281) 810-9345 saying they need to discuss felonies charged against themselves and/or their Social Security number? This number called me at work today--twice in succession--and I am writing the gist of their voicemail message here.
I plan to ignore this--my only arrest was for disorderly conduct (a minor misdemeanor) in college, over 25 years ago, and it has long since been expunged. If I am being charged with a felony, I think I would know it.
Putting the word out, and asking if anyone else has experienced this as well.
It's a scam, one of many. If we mentioned them all here there'd be hundreds of threads.
