Has anyone had problems with Staples delivering orders? I ordered a chair from Staples. My delivery has been delayed twice so far and today it was supposed to come and again, no one showed up. When I call, I get a different excuse from each person. One person even tried to blame it on me.

All they seem to want to do is push off the problem and tell me to wait until "tomorrow." I always thought Staples was a reputable company but I feel like I am dealing with a small-time sketchy operation that just wants to charge my credit card and never provide me with anything. Is this typical?

I really do need a chair for office work. If someone can recommend a good brand or a company that will actual MAKE a delivery I would appreciate it.

Usually they come UPS or Fedex. Check the email you got and see if it has a tracking number.

As to their chairs, they've become crap over the past few years. Their name brand stuff is junk. I switched over to the following chair:

Comfort Products Commodore II Oversize Big and Tall Leather Chair, Black | Staples®

Then hunted around for the lowest price and got Staples to Price Match it (5% kick back through rewards program).

Thanks! I forgot to say that I need a chair for a tiny space. I WISH I could have an oversize leather chair!

Maybe after I move. I am looking for a larger place. I picked the one from Staples based on reviews and it is rated for 8 hours use and was small enough for my current space.

Anyway, I called AGAIN and the person I talked to said she would reship it by UPS and sent me a $20 coupon.

She was #6 or #7 of the people I talked to and the only one who was helpful and didn't give me dumb excuses. She actually said "this never should have happened."

Fingers crossed...it is supposed to come tomorrow. If not, I will be on Amazon.
