The only damn thing I don't like about Wal-Mart is some of the customers that come in there. Some will not get out of your way when you are trying to get through. When you say, "Excuse me, but can I go through?" they look at you like you're crazy and think that YOU'RE the one invading THEIR damn space (like they own it or some s***!!). That's the only thing I hate about Wal-Mart (just certain customers)...UGGGGHHHHH!!! AHHHHH!!!

It's ironic that you should mention that because I recently said the same thing to my wife. Some of the people will stare straight ahead and bang right into you like football players. I haven't seen this in other stores, I don't know what causes it in Wal-Mart.

A Super Wal-Mart was recently built in the neighboring city and the parking lot is always full. Ever since the Wal-Mart came in our Safeway Store is having constant sales that they never had before. We attribute this to the competition from Wal-Mart. In the end, it has been very good for us.

Default seriously???

ok i'm all for hard work but if i just worked a 16 hour day like you say, then dangit i might be a couple of min late. even if i didn't work a 16 hour day, i might still be a little late. the fact is stuff happens when you have kids and spouses who work, maybe your sharing one car cause ones in the shop, you spent your ONE day off doing badly needed house work and pulled you back out. there are a lot of hard working people out there, notice i said PEOPLE, who are just trying to live their lives making enough money to survive, and still trying to keep the family together. it's not easy, and you mister "16 hour day"" shouldn't be a minute late the next" please... you sound like a male workaholic and i feel sorry for your wife and kids, if you've been off of your "16 hour days" long enough to have those!!

Your Safeway will be out of business within 1-2 years.

Well, I wasn't here a year ago, so Its all new to me, duh. Dont post if you dont like the age of something.
I love Walmart and find they are the same no matter what city they are in. I think that is the point; so you can feel close to home, right? I really dont like the "Greeters" (because I'm crippled) and drive myself, but need someone to bring me an electric shopping cart sometimes (if there is not one in the parking lot) but they are usually so busy saying "Hello welcome to WalMart" they dont hear you begging and screaming for SERVICE,,,<HELLO? CUSTOMER NEEDS A HANDICAPPED CART TO SHOP".
But they are usually quite accomodating, most of the time. About the same quality of CS as Kmart and the others.

How are Super Wal-marts different from the regular ones? I don't think we have super ones here on Long Island.
