I am sure everyone has a few small items they purchased that have held up much better than they ever expected.

I couple come to mind for me:

Oral B electric toothbrush. Going strong since around 2000 same battery.
Uniden handheld marine/VHF radio. Since 2002, same battery pack.

Any others?

Mike

A few months ago, I bought a used portable CD player at Goodwill for $2.

It's an old Sony Discman that has a manufactured date of 1999 on it but it still works as if it were new, even though it's 16 years old. They made them good back then, unlike the cheap-o ones you see in stores today.

Yet another reason I love that store!

How long have you had your iPads? And how often do you use/charge them? I have an iPad 3 (going on 3 years) and am always concerned about the battery giving out.
