If its on amazon I wouldn't worry too much about it. Definitely read the seller reviews though.
The seller has only 12 reviews and two say the service on Samsung is horrible. I would look at consumer reports before you buy this particular refrigerator.
I went through three Samsung refrigerators that I bought from Costco due to the warranty. I finally go sick of swapping out refrigerators and bought a different brand.
I may have just had bad luck, but my friend went through two Samsungs as well. Of course, we may have been unlucky.
Just make sure the dealer on Amazon is an authorized Samsung dealer or Samsung might not cover the warranty. Good part of ordering from Amazon is you can always use the AtoZ guarantee if push come to shove with the third party vendor.
I order online on almost all my stuff now, just so much easier and you can see all the reviews you need. Plus is always cheaper.
Best buy/pacific or whatever just can't compete when their prices is always 10-20% higher than online vendors.
That model has been discontinued by Samsung, and I personally wouldn't buy it because you can do just as well or better on pricing on the newer model if you wait for a good sale. Plus for a large appliance like that, I would buy locally - you want to have someone you can get a hold of if there are any problems.
