Fees are lower than eBay, but Amazon sets the shipping fees you can collect depending on the type of item. Sometimes it works out and others it does not. Also, it doesn't work well for unique items. I have much better success selling my paintings on eBay than on Amazon.
Amazon, however, provides great exposure for new or used consumer products.
I sell on both venues.
I've found the selling fees to be slightly higher on Amazon, but I think it depends on the category you sell in.

I prefer to list on Amazon because it is so much easier than listing on eBay. The pages are already set up, all you have to do is find your item, and say 'yeah, I have one too, here's how much I want for it'.
On eBay, you write up your own page, take your own pictures, etc.
For selling electronics, I'd definitely go to Amazon first. They probably already have a page for it in their catalog.
I also prefer selling on Amazon, although I find the fees much higher than on Ebay. But, dealing with Amazon is like dealing with a responsible adult business with great customer service, vs. Ebay who treats sellers horribly, in my opinion. Things just seem to work smoothly on Amazon and I never have problems with customers on Amazon either, as opposed to Ebay.
I don't sell much on either, though, anymore.
But, I just learned about a trade-in program they have, where Amazon will buy your items directly from you. Obviously, you don't get the highest price you could get, but it was easy as can be, and they credited my gift card account. I sold a used Netgear cable router to them. They gave me a free shipping label to ship it to them, too.
