Our local Dorothy Lane Market had a "pay by fingerprint" biometric system but the provider went bankrupt. We liked using it and expect that they will find another provider soon.

So..self check outs...love them or hate them

I prefer them. I don't have to deal with a person, all the better, as far as I'm concerned.

Me too. I can tell if I scan the same item twice when checking myself out. The cashier usually can't.
