I'm SO glad to learn that I'm not the only one who gets these excuses. I've gotten the "gate locked" (no gate), "business closed" (this is a house, not a business), "no access" (open house in an open subdivision) ones too.

The worst one of all (IMO) is "delivered to customer". That one has actually been scanned at times when the package was not delivered at all -- and wasnt delivered until the next day.

I got this one today: "Delivered, Left with Individual". Problem is, I wasn't home and I had to go search for it. Found it on the side of the house sitting in the rain. Was it really that difficult to get out of the vehicle, get wet a little and place it on my front porch?

Note that one thing I don't seem to like about Amazon Logistics is that you don't always know which fulfillment center the item ships out of until you receive the package as indicated on the label by its fulfillment center code or if you ask Amazon by phone or by live chat. I have a package that shipped out of San Marcos according to Amazon live chat, and I didn't receive any updates to tracking until it arrived at the Phoenix Sortation Center yesterday afternoon (I ordered Monday evening after the cutoff time and the item shipped out early Tuesday morning). Apparently it went by ground all the way from San Marcos to the Phoenix Sortation Center. It should be delivered today.
