Mine is the Anniversary Sale at Nordstrom. Brand new stuff marked down 1/3rd before it hits the floors in July. Also Neiman Marcus's after Christmas Day Sale. 85-90% premier designer.
Most months, Dillard's has an end of the month sale where their permanently reduced merchandise is reduced another 30-40%. There are also markdowns after Christmas but that merchandise is then marked down another 50% on January 1 (10 am to 6 pm?) in the stores. There is also an online sale that started last night at midnight CST. I went through the website earlier and picked out stuff and then bought about $300 of Eileen Fisher. Unfortunately I was not able to buy a handbag - I'm wondering if I needed to have the handbag in my shopping cart before midnight and then complete the order when the sale starts. But it is much easier than physically going to the store if you know your size because the store is a madhouse on New Years.
