Look for outlet shopping online. Places like Sierra Trading company and Campmor have kids departments. Campmor is an especially good place to buy Columbia brand items.

I have seen awesome deals on eBay on whole lots of good, decent, pre-owned children's clothes and shoes.

When I want to find good deals on clothing and shoes without the hassle of shopping around in brick and mortar stores or the mall, eBay is the first place I go.

I have even gotten my 80 year old mother ordering really nice pre-owned and very reasonable, often high-end clothing off of eBay. She gets constant compliments on her outfits.

eBay sellers are held to strict customer service guidelines. No reason to worry if you are not satisfied with anything you order there. The seller, or eBay customer service if needed, will make it right.

Facebook marketplace. In my locale there are all sorts of buy/sell sites and tons of children's clothing, toys, ect.

In fact my local consignment shop recently stopped selling kids clothing and the owner told me there was no business for him any more to do so, due to these facebook groups.

I have noticed a few consignment stores in my area that went out of business, and I wonder if that's the reason. Personally, I'd rather shop at a consignment store (if I could get out of the house) than buy from random people online.

I googled....https://www.google.com/search?q=seco...hrome&ie=UTF-8

And, check any of the nicer places like Zulily which often have great sales.

And, if you have any friends who also have small kids, trade babysitting so that you can get out of the house occasionally.
