The annual membership fee is going up from $99 to $119 starting in May.

Amazon is raising the price of Prime to $119

And why not? People are happily paying...
Not worth it to me, though...

Call it $10 per month. Between what I save on shipping, the free kindle e-books I get, the prime music and prime video.... all of that is a fraction of what is available, all of it I use regularly, it's well worth the price. I'm okay with a small increase.

Yep, like a drug dealer. Get them hooked on all of the services, then hike up the price.

Not me, either, though.

I am okay with the small raise in subscription fee. We use our Prime often, plus we use our Amazon Fire tablets every day.

Same here. Everything gets more expensive. It would be nice for something in this world to get cheaper for once. Ah, well.

I'll gladly pay it, because it's a huge bargain for the shipping alone.

I was planning on letting mine expire before they announced the rate hike. I realized that with the free two day or same day shipping, I was buying stuff just to buy stuff at times.

That's definitely the business model. Prime people buy more stuff not necessarily from necessity.

I didn't like the last hike but stayed. I will let it expire now and stop feeding money to Bozo the Amazon clown. I've found more and more is not actually available as prime shipping anyway. And about half that is prime ships 3 days late and then 2 days shipping. Nice loop around what you actually pay for. Hopefully this creates a wake up call to what the 'zon is actually doing.
