We plan on OptOutside: hiking up one of favorite trails just a few blocks away. I tried the Black Friday one year and was thoroughly disgusted by rude behavior. I don’t do well in crowds anyway so I don’t want to be in that situation again. Last year I bought a few things on Cyber Monday. This year, I am making gifts. Since I am an illustrator, people are getting cards and prints. DH and I get each other gifts throughout year and DD gets money. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I have never done Black Friday in stores. I do it online! Almost everything advertised in stores is also online. My DH goes to Menards and Kohls, but he likes doing that. He went yesterday to Verizon and inquired about a phone for my daughter. They gave him the BF deal yesterday! YAY! I can't stand crowds and I won't fight someone over anything. It's either I shop online or I pay a little more. The crowds are just not worth it to me to save a little.

That's what I did! OK, I think I did enough "damage" today! I ordered a total of 9 sweaters, a sweater dress, & a sequinned tee from Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Macy's, New York & Co.

What's your "game plan"?

If you order online; Topcashback and ebates give cash back with each order. Join both sites then shop online like you normally would adding items to your cart. Once you're done open top cash back, type in the store/ website you're shopping at; it will give you the cash back link, next, hit your ebates cash back browser button, once activated go to your cart and check out. It's that easy.

Top cash back

Ebates - has a button you can add to your browser, thats the easiest way to use it

I ordered a set of electric rollers that I've been wanting. I ordered them from JCP and got free shipping to the store, otherwise I would have ordered them from somewhere else at the same price. I used the Ebates button, and got $4.00 cash back.

Thanks a lot, yes I've belonged to a program for yrs called MyPoints in which you get so many points for every dollar you spend & can redeem for gifts cards for a LOT of places. I have almost 52,000 points so far & I'm leaving them to get some big gift cards (GCs) later!
