I am this year.
Because I had coffee yesterday afternoon with the turkey. Turkey was fine but the coffee was really dense. I had to cut it with 20% water.
It's 4:50 now. I getting up for coffee then it the door.
Not going to buy much. Just can't sleep.
No, I don't venture out on Black Friday at this point. There were a few years quite a while back that I used to visit a cousin of mine for the Thanksgiving period and we would venture mid-morning to early afternoon (but that isn't recent).
I'll hit Staples this afternoon, but it isn't usually too crazy after the early morning insanity. And even that isn't what it used to be. I think a lot of people have either started shopping earlier, or do it mostly online these days. It certainly isn't what it used to be.
And the one item I really want doesn't really go on sale (an Apple product) so I can simply buy it when I can find it - in pink!
Nope, you couldn't pay me enough to venture out into that madness.
Funny how my view on consumerism has changed since I cut the TV cord. No more advertisements, no more feeling that I just Have to have XYZ product or like I'm "missing out" on some deal.
Nope, not even if I was feeling top-notch, which I'm not. I'll either shop online, or wait until cyber Monday. I went to exactly one Black Friday sale in my life, back when they were more "civilized", stopping in at a Belk store at 7 AM before I had to go to work. Got in, got what I wanted, and wasn't too late at the office.
Do you still look for deals and go shopping on Black Friday?
Whether just for Christmas gifts or deals for your personal use?
I had worked retail for many years, so i always worked and couldnt shop on BF. Then i had the opportunity, and did for about 5 years.
Now i avoid it, though, i have trouble walking, so dont need to get trampled.
So do you shop black Friday?
What are you looking for this year that is a "bargain "?
I have never, in my entire life, shopped a Black Friday. Only time I was even in a store for it was when I had to work it. No thanks.
