Never in my life. What a waste of money and nothing but junk food is available in that way.

I just checked Seamless for my area, and the nice Greek restaurant in the next town delivers through them, the Portuguese place, the Sushi place...

You can actually get about everything, ranging from grocery stores to numerous restaurants. It being junk food or not just depends on what you are ordering, not what they are offering.

Of course these options depend on where you live. I live in the city, so more options than say a small town or rural area.

In my small town, the only delivery option is Round Table pizza. healthy or not, it is the only delivery option, of course lots of other options for pick up. e do not order for deliver * never have) so it is of no matter, to us.

It's convenient. I typically order food online/via apps multiple times a week

We have Waitr here, along with a couple of other delivery services. Most of the many restaurants in our town have this available. And then there’s pizza.

We order online several times a month.

This thread is about ordering online, not about delivery. We do order online but don't waste money on delivery; it only takes a few minutes to pick it up ourselves and there is no delivery fee and no tip needed.

Of course delivery is a great thing for people who are ill/disabled/exhausted/have no transportation, etc., but none of that applies to us so we just drive over and get our food.

There's no delivery where I am, and if there was, all we have near enough to deliver is pizza. But there's a Chinese take-out that gives 5% off for internet ordering, so I sometimes pull into the lot, make the order on my phone, and go to the grocery store. Then I pick up my Chinese food.

I mostly do the same. Just order ahead for pickup. Everything is close.
