Sorry, my mistake. I DO have the circular fry basket!

Is the round rotisserie basket as easy to use as the slide-in square ones? Do people find they use the rotisserie spit a lot?

I personally haven't used mine yet, but here's a video of how it looks when in use. Look at 3:00, 12:14, & 13:45 minutes:

And re: the spit, I haven't used that yet either.

Thanks for that demo. The basket looks great for fries, but I wonder if it would rip the coating off anything breaded. And it would take up a lot of real estate in the DW. I need to go read some reviews.

What is the difference between an air fryer and a convection oven?

One if not THE main difference is that air frying is healthier because you don't dip your food in oil if you want the fried method of cooking. Also, air frying cooks foods faster since the oven shelf(ves) has holes, so the air circulates all around the food.

Many air fryers are ALSO convection ovens TOO. Mins is as well as a dehydrator & rotisserie cooker.

https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-37...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

It handles a regular size frozen pizza, small roast or cornbread and the fryer basket is big enough for wings and fries for two. No coating to come off!

I just bought a Chefman 10 Liter multifunction air fryer from the Navy Exchange. It was on sale for $70, which was considerably less than the $120 I saw the same item for online. I may end up using it myself or gifting it to the parents. I have a traditional deep fryer, but I don't like how much oil I use (which means I don't use it often), so I just may keep this air fryer for myself.

GoWise 7 quart. I seriously could not see getting anything smaller, even for just two people. This brand usually ranks in the top 10 no matter who is doing the reviews.
