Flowers.

At Walmart they've blocked off the entrance to the garden section, thank you, so I have to go in the main entrance.

Especially in the spring when they start putting out all their flowers, I cant resist.
And, Im not even shopping for flowers. lol

Always on the look-out for some neat t-shirt/hoodie or novelty items to get family members prior to Christmas/birthdays.

Finally got that top fill humidifier from Homedics that I had been looking for. This one is really nice. I can opt to shut off any of the blue lights, it's whisper quiet and I don't have to struggle flipping it to fill with water. Oh, I can also choose to add a few drops of essential oil. They gave a sample of lavender. I haven't done that yet. I wouldn't mind looking for a lightly scented peppermint though. Speaking of which ...

My fave treat could be a couple chilled GS thin mint cookies. Also, York [dark] peppermint patties.

Only thing I splurge on that has been ongoing for years....

Bath towels!!

Its only a two household home and I have enough Quality, fluffy, irresistible towels to send to a military troup!

Everytime I go to Kohls, I seem to hit the week towels are on sale! So I just talk myself into just getting one or two more....

I do have an abundance of " aroma therapy" oils.

Each week I get samples ...

$100 Federal reserve notes.

Orchids

High quality printing and writing papers. The look and feel can be amazing, and I have a collection of them that I gathered over years. (I also touch and feel every interesting fabric in a fabric store. Disneyland for the fingertips. )

YouTube European concert videos. All the joy and wonder of seeing great music performed by greats - without the cost, the parking hassle, ticket hassle, overpowering perfumes, and having to pee at inappropriate times.

I think I go more for experiences as treats than gathering tchotchkes. An impromptu picnic by a river, or just driving to a scenic spot and wandering builds a bank of joy. Trinkets eventually become a burden.

Nail Polish. I have lots and lots, but still see "new" colors I "need".
Chocolate, especially Lindt and Ritter Sport Hazelnut
Shampoos/Conditioners
Herbs and Spices
Throws and blankets and sheets
Scarves. A couple years ago I scored Lisbeth Kaare vintage scarves, unopened in their original packages. The seller obtained them via the storage room of a closing store. He was selling them for dirt cheap, about $2 - $3 each with free shipping, so I bought all the colors I could use. No need for new scarves since.

Scarves (this is too bad, I bought a couple to go with my office clothes... in late 2019 )
Cute little pins (also bought in 2019 for the office )
Craft supplies (no more time for crafts because 2020 child care and work are a mess )
Flowers (never mind, I have no more room because the flowers I have keep reproducing )

Oh no, this list is getting depressing

OK, pretty mugs and chocolate are still a good buy.
And birthday presents. I get a kick out of getting people good birthday presents.
