The news just did a segment on the Rossen Reports on Grocery Delivery Services. They compared Amazon and Walmart. I don't get grocery deliveries, but I can't count the number of times I am getting someone else's groceries. Is anyone else getting someone else's grocery?
When we shop for groceries I’m struck by the fact that the curb-side pickup spaces in parking lots are usually empty. I rarely see grocery delivery trucks anymore in our retirement neighborhood.
Was grocery delivery just a fad that came and went with the lockdowns?

The grocery delivery existed some and has for quite awhile, but with the pandemic many stores are participating. Even some apps like Instacart deliveries for a multitude of groceries.
We have used Instacart since April for groceries and produce. Very pleased with the service.
Well maybe your in a small town or community. I just have gotten other people's groceries and only caught the guy one time who was delivering it. And the others I got went into the garbage. And I might add, I also got the wrong food delivery (twice) that is food subscriptions.
Location: The Circle City. Sometimes NE of Bagdad.

No. And as for the reverse, I've only had something misdelivered on one occasion in the last 8 months. And I order groceries for 3 households in 3 different cities in 2 different states. I usually place orders at least twice a week. I order and receive groceries from Walmart, Costco, Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Pantry, and Instacart (which has delivered groceries to me from Publix, Target, Milam's, B.J.'s, and The Fresh Market).
I've been very pleased with all of the delivery services I've used since March. I can shop aisle by aisle, picking and choosing what I want, and have everything delivered within 2 hours (depending upon which service I'm using), all from the comfort of my living room sofa. I can even pick items from 2 or 3 different stores and have everything included in one order. (Again, depending on the delivery service.)
I'm not sure that I'll ever go back to grocery shopping the conventional way.
I tried the Kroger delivery service once but didn't like it. Now, I prefer to just do it conventionally but make sure I plan it well by having a list and going early in the morning so that I'm in and out in less than 30 minutes. Works well.
