Never heard of it.

Try Warby Parker, I've been nothing but highly pleased and bought two pair for $250 total the other month. Those are monofocals and the standard lenses; YMMV. They look great and are holding up just fine, I'm wearing a pair right now. They have retail bare-bones outlets in many cities, if that works for you. There are two in Seattle, my home, AFAIK. Their helpers are...helpful...and it's no frills, but that doesn't seem to mean "crummy" I'm pleased to tell.

I have purchased 4 pair of glasses from payneglasses.com in the last 3 months. 1 pair I exchanged because the frame was too big for my face. They have been wonderful to work with and the prices are excellent! I have not paid more than $42 for any 1 pair of glasses and they are all progressive lenses. That price is without vision insurance. They are legit and they are economical and the frames all look great!

Try Zenni online. I bought 5 pair of prescription glasses for a total of $75 including a $35 pair of prescription sunglasses. They were very helpful during the ordering process. That was a year ago and the glasses have held up very well.

I like Zenni, too. $45 for two pairs of Rx regular glasses and two pairs of Rx shades. They're holding up well.
