My package went to my old address (it was my fault as the account was still set to my old address by default), and was delivered today.
It is out of state, so it isn't something I can drive to locally and pick up, and they said they would have to ship to me (I told them I would cover that cost, but they said they wouldn't be able to take payment from me in this aspect).
So you’re talking about the people who got your package?
You can also arrange for a UPS/USPS pickup and redelivery or just ask the people to send it to you COD.
Yeah. I checked with the apartments and they said it would have been delivered to their door. I am waiting to hear back on if they received it. If they say no, there is not much I can do.

So the office is going to check with the tenant? That’s going above and beyond, I hope they actually do it.
Do you have family or friends in the area that can go get it for you? Even with the delivery confirmation, it’s your word against theirs if they lie about it. Hope is wasn’t a pricey item and can be reordered.

Is there anything I can do?
You have any friends in your old area who would handle this for you?
New folks might or might not want want to do anything in particular to make sure you get your package. It would be nice if they would, but they are not required to.

Even if they did receive it, since they didn't order it, the package would be legally considered an unsolicited mailing so they get to keep it free of charge. They are under no obligation to return it or send it to you.
