I've bought several things from Temu and it's the same stuff that they sell on Amazon or Ebay except it's cheaper. I've never had any problem with them and if your order takes more than the stated delivery date you get a $5 credit. By the way, Temu is based in Boston Mass.

I've bought a bunch of stuff from Temu and I've never had a problem. I use paypal because they are very good at refunding your money if you have a problem with a vendor. Much of what they sell is available on Amazon but it's considerably more expensive there. Once my order was received a day after the expected date and I got an email from Temu apologizing and offering me a $5 credit. I can't access the Time article I guess I reached my limit of free articles or something. But I did find this, sitejabber is a pretty good source for reviews: https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/temu.com

I've loved 98% of all I've gotten from them! I have to STOP!
I re-order things...their $4 watches actually work, btw!
Was shocked they placed a short ad during the Super Bowl!

Temu is a subsidiary of Chinese-based PDD Holdings Inc. See post #4 for link.

They are trying to look like a US company but are owned by a Chinese company

I looked again way down the page and shipping cost is shown "after the order is paid for" which doesn't sound right and they always have a 10 (?) hour clock counting down to zero for free shipping. I've seen many good reviews and many not so good. Random potluck maybe.
I've never paid for shipping at Temu, it's free as long as your order is for $10 or more. They do have priority shipping which costs more, but I think you select that at check out.

I didn't think they are trying to deceive anyone into thinking they weren't a Chinese company

You said they were based in Boston. They are not.

Cheap junk cutting out the various middlemen, so your money goes straight to the Chinese sweatshop owners. I try not to do any direct business with CCP-affiliated businesses myself.
