Black Friday took a grim turn when a Wal-Mart employee in New York died after bargain hunters broke down the doors to the store.

The 34-year-old male employee was pronounced dead one hour after shoppers broke down the doors to the shopping center in Valley Stream, N.Y., and knocked him down at around 5 a.m. Friday, police said.

on top of that, it looks like a pregnant woman was also injured and may have miscarried her baby.

main reason why I don't shop on this day, too many rampaging lunatics. and no retail store could pay me enough to work on Black Friday!

I love how Wal-Mart refuses to confirm this too. Is there any reason to still support Wal-Mart?

What does Walmart have to do with the bad behavior of the crowds shopping there?

It's becoming more 'Black & blue' Friday now...
I think this will force them to take a look at possibly doing away with this madness.

They know black friday is crazy and should have security in place and some type of orderly way for customers to get in the store instead of allowing everyone to just push in

Geez! Why don't you ask all the people who stampeded that poor man who was just working at his job why they still support Walmart this year, next year, everyday? Would you say the same thing if the man died at Best Buy?

The article says they took the hinges off the doors. Maybe there should be steel bars, barbed wire or an electric fence next time.
