What the heck is wrong with America ?
All for a few trinkets on sale the day after Thanksgiving ?

First the Walmart stampede and now a shootout at Toys R Us.
We are a sad, sad bunch of people.

No wonder why people are so distrustful and withdrawn these days...such a shame.

I don't agree with "we"....it's not "we" it's some people. We're all not like that...I don't shop between November 15th and the middle of January specifically to avoid sick, frenzied, crabby, stressed out, nasty "Happy Holiday " shoppers.

That is why I avoid shopping in stores during these desperate times. Nuts are everywhere.

I meant "we" as in Americans.

From what I understand, the shootings were the result of some personal issues between the two men and unrelated to shopping. Luckily, the only casualties were the two knuckleheads who pulled their guns on each other.

We could have used that 500 gig external hard drive Walmart had for $69, but I wouldn't have gone if Walmart had offered to pay me $69 to come and get one! Not sure my hospitalization insurance would have covered Black Friday or not!

These two guys and their ho's were GANG MEMBERS. None of these people lived in Palm Desert - just came here to shop (or whatever). This incident was not shopping related at all. There was apparently already bad blood between these two groups of people before they ever encountered each other in the Toys R Us. When the cops had the "ladies" handcuffed outside the store they were yelling death threats at each other. Nice, huh?
