I was suspended on ebay a few months ago, I am currently using a friend's account to sell my items which ebay does not suspect, since the identity is different (paypal email, name, shipping address is different,...) I even used a VPN to mask my IP on the computers that I used in the past.
However, it seems that it is a completely different person and is not related to me in anyway, can I still use the same PCS i used before without having to add a VPN shield, also can I still use the address that I used in the past to buy items or will ebay know and hence suspend the account?
Yes, why were you suspended? If the reason was for the items you were selling (counterfeit, prohibited, trademarked, etc) and you are just selling them again on another account, you will get your friends account suspended too.
If you were suspended for poor customer service issues and you are continuing with those bad practices, again, you are putting your friends account in jeopardy.
As for buying, yes you can still buy if you were only suspended for selling. It should say that in the letter you got when you were suspended. No reason to mask your IP for buying.
A note. They will catch up with your deception and you will get your friends account suspended permanently. It's only a matter of time. Either by the bots ebay uses to monitor these accounts, or when you run across a customer that recognizes you and turns you in.
My account was suspended a few months ago because there is supposedly an account that is associated with mine that got suspended.
I'm only banned from selling, not buying.
Ebay basically told me that because one of my previous addresses matches an address of a seller with issues, they banned my account. Doesn't seem fair at all.
Because of this, I no longer use eBay or PayPal. They can go pound sand.
