Does anyone remember 3 cent post card and 5 cent letters.

I also have a vague recollection of if an envelope was not sealed, it could be mailed cheaper than one that was glued.

Can anyone verify or refute this vague and fuzzy recollection of an addled brain.

They have to go up to make any money.
I do everything on the internet, so I buy probably 2 stamps per year!

I hardly use any anymore, but I believe they are. Had to check last week and I'm pretty sure I needed 41 cents. I have many leftover make-up stamps, so that's what I use to supplement other old stamps.

The original post was from 2007. So yes, they are 41 cents already.
