News, Stamp goes to 41 cents in May; forever stamp OK'd.
Aren't stamps 41 cents already , though?
I hardly use any anymore, but I believe they are. Had to check last week and I'm pretty sure I needed 41 cents. I have many leftover make-up stamps, so that's what I use to supplement other old stamps.
Not true...other .41 cent stamps ARE forever.....forever worth 41 cents!
I was looking at postage calculator today and only 41 cent in 100 roll liberty bell labeled forever was the only one. They had it off to the side of other stamps.

Does anyone remember 3 cent post card and 5 cent letters.
I also have a vague recollection of if an envelope was not sealed, it could be mailed cheaper than one that was glued.
Can anyone verify or refute this vague and fuzzy recollection of an addled brain.
yes. I remember all of those, even the unsealed envelope story (was it just a rumour ?) . My stars . Does this mean that we are both .......over the hill ? ? ?
