OLD FORGE, Pa., Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Maytag's "Lonely Repairman" made a stop at the home of Pennsylvania couple who have had their washer and dryer since 1967 -- but the appliances weren't broken.

That is when maytag made the best washers and dryers. Not now.

the older appliances were made to last longer then. Can't say that today when they barely give you a 90 day warranty with products.
