I freely admit to being biased and bigoted toward bigoted snobs. I owe no respect to those who are viciously disrespectful of others who have done nothing to them but offend their country-club sensibilities.

Like I said, I don't bother trying to change anyone who is clearly not looking to be changed. My vitriol was a response to vitriol. Maybe you should try your armchair psychologolical analysis on the OP who started this insulting and inflammatory thread.

People think I'm snobbish because I don't shop at WM, but the reality is that I'm not and I don't.
I do spend more on groceries- I shop at WF, or other organic-type places. I don't buy convenience foods, I buy natural products and cook. While WM does sell some organics, they don't have the variety I want.
I don't buy 'stuff'. If I need a bakepan, I use what I have, or I go to Goodwill. Seriously.
I don't buy a ton of clothes. I buy good quality from Nordstrom or online on sale, and it lasts forever. I knit and sew, so I can make practically anything.
For gardening, I buy from a local nursery, which gives me good info about the plants and local conditions- that helps me spend less and not waste money on plants that won't grow here.
See?
But unlike the OP, I presume you can choose not to shop at Wal-Mart without being a vicious jerk about those who do choose to shop there.

I don't consider myself vicious, but if they REALLY wanted to save money, they'd stay out of WM. There are cheaper, healthier and more frugal options. In many ways, WM pushes wasteful consumption just as much as 'expensive' stores do.

Considering that WALMART has done more damage to the US economy than Osama could dream of, I will do without rather than shop there
Yes, I have one I will lend you.
How do you plan to pay it back?
Installment plan. Just like our countries finances!!!
