I have owned a Kenmore Elite Oasis washer and dryer for about a year now with no problems. Getting ready to move soon and the washer and dryer are staying, so looking to purchase a new set.

Debating on going with the same thing or is there any difference in the Maytag Bravos series?

Anyone own the following Maytag washers:

MVWB750W
MVWB450WQ
MVWB750WQ
MVWB750WR

If so, any and all feedback would be appreciated on top loaders. Based on Consumer Reports, they appear to be rated the best.

What about one of those:
LG WM3431 Front Load All-in-One Washer / Dryer Reviews. Buying Guides & Consumer Product Reviews - Epinions.com

Samsung WF419AA Front Load All-in-One Washer / Dryer Details and Product Specifications - Epinions.com

Zanussi WJD1457W Front Load All-in-One Washer / Dryer Product Reviews and Price Comparison - Epinions.com ( I have this one)

LG WD-3274RHD Front Load All-in-One Washer / Dryer Product Reviews and Price Comparison - Epinions.com

It is just wonderful: you put your laundry in and not bother with it until everything is washed and dry - all in one unit! I love it and I would never ever go back to washer and dryer in separate units again!!!

I have an MVWB400vq that works wonders and was a lot cheaper than those other models you posted. I got mine at LOWE's on sale about 2 year ago. Have never had a problem. Mine has a just as much capacity for a lot less money. I think I paid about $750.00

Funny you should mention as I was looking at Sears.com and one of their top rated machines is the Maytag White 4.7 cu. ft. Top-Load Super Capacity Plus Washing Machine (MVWB300W).

Any idea if this is comparable to yours? Any idea of the differences in yours to the other models numbers I mentioned?

Whatever you do don't buy it at Sears. I bought a dishwasher from them last month and it has been a nightmare. They delivered a damaged one and I had to wait a week for them to deliver another. They also did not haul away my old one but still charged me for the haul-away.

Went through executive customer service and got my delivery & haul away fee refunded plus half price installation. I thought "now we're getting somewhere." Wrong. The installer showed and refused to perform the install stating that I needed a plumber to "change" the location of my plumbing. I called a plumber who has done work for me before and he installed it without moving any lines for $80, but Sears is refusing to refund my installation fee even though they did not perform the service. They STINK. Also if you complain to the BBB about them customer service will refuse to speak to you. That's right!

Buy from anywhere but Sears. That is my feedback.
