How long is the drive from Natchitoches to Shreveport? I'm liking what I am reading and seeing about that place. Does anyone know what it is really like there?

Nack is about an hours drive from Shreveport. About 70 miles. It has a cool downtown area and some little shops and restaurants. Northwestern State University is also located there (The Demons). It's definitely worth checking out. PS- I call it Nack and I've heard a few others say that. However, in everyday conversation, especially when introducing that subject, call it Natchitoches.

I know what you're thinking. The commute is too far. You'd be better off looking at Marshall, TX. Good prices for houses. Safe, clean good schools. Much closer. North Bossier is still your best bet.

Ok, Ziasforever, I'll check out Marshall. Thanks for the info.
