Would you be looking in Shreveport or Bossier City, and what kind of payment would you want? I can tell you, the rental market is very hot right now. When something becomes available, you have to jump on it quickly. We have a really good housing market as well. If you are moving here, your rent will be higher than if you bought something and had a mortgage.

400-450 any metro size city in the area. Any suggestions? May have to try Jackson, Ms, or even along the PH say Pensacola area.

Now you have definitely peaked my interest. Are you just moving to leave Ca. or are you moving for a job? You can find some apartments around LSUS in southeast Shreveport off Kings Highway for that.

crazy, but im moving sight unseen to hopefully save a ton of money rather than continue to be San diego surviver. Just cant save anything here. I think i can get off a Greyhound bus and find a weekly motel, sro, residential hotel, or if not, a regular hotel room for around 450 monthly. 500 limit. This deserves its own reality show, doesent it. Its gotta be somewhere in the south where the older buildings still remain. Maybe im just bored, but it will be somethin to do.
